Advanced Wilderness and Remote First Aid:

All programs comply with the 2005 ILCOR and CoSTAR guidelines!

This course prepares individuals to provide care to an injured person for more than 24 hours and includes and expands upon all material from Wilderness and Remote First Aid plus more scenarios and several more advanced topics. It focuses on:
    - Outdoor leaders
    - People who take extended trips into the wilderness or remote locations
    - People who provide recreational or leisure experiences as a professional guide
 

Course length is 40 hours with at least 50% taught in an outdoor setting.

Certification: Red Cross Advanced Wilderness and Remote First Aid, AED & Level 'C' CPR. Valid for 3 years.
